Who we are
This website, getup.ae, is owned and operated by GETUP COSTUMES TRADING L.L.C, a company licensed by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (licence no. 1652039). In these terms, "GetUP", "we" and "us" mean this company.
United Arab Emirates is our country of domicile.
By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Who can order
You must be 18 or older to place an order. Minors under the age of 18 may not register as a user or transact on this website.
We deliver within the United Arab Emirates only. We do not trade with or provide any services to OFAC sanctioned countries.
Orders
When you place an order, you make an offer to buy. The sale is confirmed when we send your order confirmation by email, which happens within minutes of payment.
We may cancel an order if an item is out of stock, if a price or description was shown in error, or if payment cannot be verified. If we cancel, we refund you in full.
Prices and payment
All prices are in UAE dirhams (AED). Any delivery charge is shown at checkout before you pay.
We accept Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards, and any other payment method shown at checkout.
Your card details go directly to our payment provider over a secure connection. We do not store them.
Please keep a copy of your order confirmation for your records.
Delivery
Delivery areas, times and charges are set out in our Shipping policy. Delivery times are estimates, and delays on the courier's side are sometimes outside our control.
Exchanges, refunds and cancellation
These are covered by our Refund policy.
Our products
We show our costumes as accurately as we can. Colours may look slightly different on your screen, and sizes are approximate. What comes with each costume is listed on its product page.
Costumes are for dress-up only. Keep them away from fire and open flames. Some costumes include small parts, so young children should be supervised.
Website content
The photos, text, logo and design of this website belong to GetUP or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without our written consent.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under UAE consumer protection law. Beyond those rights, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect losses.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute will be settled by the courts of Dubai.
Changes
We may update our website policies and these terms from time to time to meet requirements and standards. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
